The last weekend in January we are privileged to have the father-son duo of Dave and Jon Glock with us for a series of special meetings. Both are part of the faculty at Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa and are excellent Bible teachers. The book of Ecclesiastes, written by “the Teacher,” looks at the meaningless of man’s life and efforts apart from God. The book ends with this profound statement in Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” The topic for the weekend meetings will be “Practical lessons from the book of Ecclesiastes.” We will have meetings on Friday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 PM, Saturday evening at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM with a dinner break at 6:00 PM. The Glocks will also be teaching at both Sunday meetings. This should be a wonderful weekend of teaching from the Word of God. Please save the dates. Jon Glock will be meeting with the young people during the day on Saturday Jan. 28. Details on this will be announced later.
